Dogardener

Ever wish your pets could do yardwork? Thanks to 27th century hybrid petnology now they can! Fix that hip displasured mutt with new repulsorjetz and strap some shear grippers to his nice new frame. Finally slap his weak organic cranium atop it all to complete the mechanical masterpiece. Now Fido can be your real best friend!
*NOTE* shear gripperz sold separately

Made this for ye 'ol Salt's digital arts sticker set. Figured the pic was pretty self-explanatory.

Final Project Ideas

The time I've spent filming random acts and speeding them up is perfect for the final project. I will plot a spot and film an entire 24 hours of Eugene in all it's gloomy-green glory. Although interesting in itself, what if a time-based interaction is implemented? In order to give the user the power of time tyranny a light switch will control which direction time will tell. One direction will play the 24 hours in it's normal fast forward state, the opposite direction will rewind the footage.

The idea behind the piece is to allow the user to revisit the time of day most interesting to him/her. Say you want to see the rare patch of blue poking through an otherwise soggy day, go for it. Notice something small that came and went across the camera lens, feel free to go back. The irony is that regardless of the power to rewind and fast forward, the speed of the footage will always outrun our cognitive abilities. The entire 24 hours is there, but our eyes would take hundreds of hours to rewind, record, interpret using our own lenses.

Design wise I need a way to manipulate a looped Quicktime movie with a light switch. My knowledge of programming and software is noob stature, but it seems simple enough. If anyone has info about getting started and what tools would get the job done, any advice would be appreciated.

By all means please rip/challenge my idea to shreds_ reasons behind the work, technical difficulties, the whole sheebang bang.
